On April 1st, thanks to a generous donation from CAST, the students enjoyed The Big Rally. The rally is to celebrate the achievements of students on the previous year’s CST. Our API goal was 700 last year and we were able to hit the 713 mark! Great job students and staff!
This kicked off our testing weeks. On Wednesday, April 6th students took a break from testing and listened to motivational speaker Josh Shipp. He entertained and inspired the students of CHS to always give their best effort, despite the circumstances. The assembly was made possible through the organization of Evelyn Fabrie, and donations from Academic Boosters and Corcoran Rotary. A big thanks to all of you for making a difference here at CHS!
Testing will run through April 13th, with make-ups being held on the 14th and 15th. Friday, April 15th will be Career Day at CHS and our last day of school before Spring Break.
Our API Goal for 2011 is 745.
